bratty kid sister lies, JESTINA-K. Originally named Karisma, JESTINA-K has made a name for themselves in their
hometown of Chicago. With artists such as R-Kelly, Twista and even Kanye West , the music industry has definitely opened it’s
doors to Chicago. With this change JESTINA-K can finally put their foot through the door and gain vast attention from
audiences both young and adult. Groups such as Destiny’s Child and TLC have led the way for the wave of the girl pop
bands; with this comes a group that is a definite sign of the times we live in. Beyond the young beautiful faces, and energetic
charisma, the breath-taking voice of JESTINA-K is what segregates them from the usual pop girl bands. The roots of
soul, R&B, jazz, and Latin can definitely be heard throughout their voices.
